Green Ridge Builders offers construction services for the full range of residential construction. Whether your needs are for new construction, an addition or a remodeling project we listen to our customers and customize each job to fit your needs. We also try to be as flexible as possible with the size of our projects. It seems every builder claims to offer “custom” homes these days. They do this because they know their customers want to feel they are receiving a custom home. The reality is that the typical builder’s idea of a custom home is allowing the customer to choose from a list of materials and finishes or maybe the type of roof. They limit your choices for a good reason, they know it is a lot of work to design and build a truly custom home.
Green Ridge Builders offers truly custom design and construction, for remodeling and new home construction. We work closely with you to develop a plan that meets your needs and your budget. We often start with “bubble” diagrams to establish the desired relationships between spaces and then refine the design until you have a truly custom home.
We work hard to understand your desires and find creative ways to satisfy these desires within your budget. Chances are, if you can dream it, we can build it. We will of course build from your existing plans or make modifications to an existing set of plans if you already have a good idea of what you want.
Real Pricing / No Surprises
We dare to do something most other builders will never do, we help you budget for the Total Project Cost, not just the price tag that they want you to see. Costs that you may find conveniently missing from our competitor’s sticker price commonly include; permitting and plan review, site clearing, landscaping, driveways, walks or other site improvements, well, septic or city utility hook-ups, design fees, surveys required by your financier or regulatory agency, appliances, bathroom accessories, window treatments, etc. These items, and others, are costs you will incur, and yet may be missing from the listed price. Green Ridge Builders believes that helping you plan for the total cost is the recipe for a satisfied customer.
Another way we help you avoid unwanted surprises is by including realistic material allowances. These commonly include light fixtures, plumbing fixtures, finish hardware, landscaping, window treatments, bathroom accessories, etc. We have heard far too often that other builders use unrealistically low allowances to keep the price tag low, and then the home owner has to pay a Change Order to get decent quality materials. We feel including realistic allowances up front is better business than hooking you with one price and surprising you later with another.
Whatever the size or type of project, we enjoy working with our northeast Ohio customers and providing them with truly custom designs with few surprises. We think these are the keys to a successful business relationship.
